Mérieux NutriSciences undertook a major redevelopment of its premises to accommodate a larger number of employees, while preserving a pleasant and friendly working atmosphere.

The restructuring of the space resulted in a significant increase in the number of open-plan areas.

To guarantee the well-being of the teams and encourage concentration, acoustic control proved to be a major challenge. The natural, eco-responsible aspect was also an essential guideline for the project.

Solutions

Arteck Design designed a customized solution combining acoustic performance, design and respect for the environment. Three types of acoustic installations were integrated:

• Liego suspended luminaires, available in grey and green, were installed in open spaces and relaxation areas to absorb noise while creating a warm, modern ambience.
• Idaho acoustic panels, in the shape of boulders, add an original, natural touch. Strategically placed, they structure spaces and optimize acoustic comfort.
• Kyoto suspended panels, with their palm motif, give the library a soothing, immersive atmosphere, ideal for concentration.

Made from 100% recycled and recyclable compact rPET fiber, these acoustic solutions are perfectly in line with Mérieux NutriSciences’ eco-design and upcycling approach.

Results

Thanks to this innovative approach, Mérieux NutriSciences’ new workspaces offer a modern, dynamic and acoustically controlled environment.

Employees enjoy a friendly, inspiring environment, conducive to exchange and productivity, while benefiting from an effective reduction in noise pollution.

The integration of natural elements enhances the feeling of well-being, in perfect harmony with the project’s ecological and sustainable vision.
