Point S head office
Customized acoustics that reflect the brand's image
Issues
- Offer employees a 350 m2 space that is both friendly and conducive to work, aesthetically consistent with Point S codes and “stress-free” in keeping with the brand’s image.
An entire floor has been refurbished, with open spaces, offices, meeting rooms, cubicles, coffee areas and a relaxation area that welcomes employees as they exit the elevator. Acoustics were a major issue on this vast site, as was aesthetics.
- Rethinking the head office’s largest meeting room
The aim was to create acoustics that were as effective as they were personalized for the head office’s main, and therefore strategic, meeting room.
On the agenda: large space, numerous potential participants, confidentiality and brand image.
Solutions
- Liego waffles on the ceiling of open spaces and relaxation areas
- Kyoto suspended panels in open spaces and offices
- Oslo partitions to separate offices
Meeting room
- 16 bespoke acoustic suspension panels cover the ceiling, installed symmetrically and at an angle for a dynamic effect.
- Integrated lighting: each suspension incorporates a neon LED, combining acoustic comfort and luminosity in a single module.
- Back wall clad with Macao panels in grooved compact rPET, adding texture and depth with a dark blue hue harmonized with the ceiling, curtains and café area.
Results
In the end, “no stress”, as the acoustic solutions made it possible to keep spaces open while maintaining sound comfort. Employees are immersed in the Point S world and enjoy a friendly, modern working environment.
The Liego waffle and tropical jungle shapes of the Kyoto panels add a modern, designer touch, while the sobriety of the Oslo partitions blends into the surroundings.
The brand is explicitly featured through the logo applied to 2 of the bespoke pendant lights, as well as the signature “No stress, there’s Point S” inlaid into the Macao panel at the back of the room.
Finally, a custom-made compact rPET wall cut-out serves as a backdrop for a neon-encrusted logo in the upstairs entrance.
