Batiste

Production and logistics planner

“Everyone would benefit from having a Batiste in their team!”

In charge of production planning and all the logistics behind the dispatch of customer orders, Batiste works hard every day to meet deadlines as closely as possible. He occupies a pivotal position within the company as the link between the sales department and the workshop.

His main qualities at work are his responsiveness, flexibility and organisational skills. Unflappable under pressure, he always finds solutions to the unexpected, while retaining his natural helpfulness and unfailing good mood.

An accomplished musician and skateboarder, his legendary sociability and camaraderie make him a valuable addition to our department. A truly kind-hearted person who’s always ready to help out, he is a unifying figure who always has a good idea to share or a great weekend to tell us about. Everyone would benefit from having a Batiste in their team!

Anthony

Warehouse operator

“Anthony is always ready to help others with a smile on his face!”

Anthony has been a logistics professional for over 15 years. He plays an active role in the smooth preparation and dispatch of orders, so that you receive your products as quickly as possible and in the best possible conditions. The pallet holds no secrets for him, and he handles them with an infectious joie de vivre.

Anthony is always smiling and appreciates ARTECK’s friendly, family atmosphere. A keen sportsman, he is enthusiastic and tenacious. In fact, he recently spent nearly an hour in the skip looking for a remote control that he’d dropped along with a pallet… only to find that it had fallen right next to it, phew. But it just goes to show that you can always count on him.

Guillaume

Production operator

“What Guillaume likes is the link with his colleagues”

Guillaume is a production operator who works on all the sound absorbers. He is always there for others, always ready to lend a hand and appreciates the warm atmosphere in the workshop and at ARTECK.

He used to work in the building trade and in the production of composite materials. The human scale of the ARTECK production team allows him to be close to his colleagues and create an atmosphere of mutual support. It’s ideal for him, as he enjoys spending time with his family, friends and travelling.

Jérémy

Numerical control operator

“Jérémy loves his job”

Jérémy manages the manufacture and packaging of acoustic solutions with care and good humour. His experience and talent enable him to always find the right solution. After more than 15 years’ experience in the industry, he joined ARTECK where he really appreciates the family atmosphere.

This welcoming environment allows him to express his talents as a comedian on a daily basis! He doesn’t hesitate to play boules on the company premises either! He is a good handyman and very attached to his family. He is a true reflection of the team and the company.

Mickaël

Numerical control operator

“He’s always looking to innovate”

Mickaël has been working with CNC – Computer Numerical Control – for almost 20 years, and for the last few years he has been working for ARTECK, manufacturing components for acoustic solutions. Before that, he worked on car stickers. Suffice to say, he knows his stuff, and being a perfectionist, he leaves nothing to chance. What’s more, he likes to innovate, so he’s always looking for ways to improve. We do the same job, so it’s great to be working together.

Like everyone else here, he really appreciates the friendly atmosphere. We do high-quality work in a good-humoured environment. The latest anecdote: on a very windy day, he came out carrying a large PET acoustic panel, and it almost blew him away! If you want to please him, you can also talk to him about fishing or his family.

Thi Khet

Seamstress

“Thi khet is as kind as she is perfectionist”.

Thi khet is one of the talented seamstresses who give life to your sound absorbers which have a fabric covering – always environmentally friendly – sewn on site in our Miribel workshop. She is a perfectionist and makes it a point of honour to produce perfectly executed products. As we all know, sewing is a high-precision craft.

As well as her professionalism, I’d like to underline Thi khet’s profound kindness. As well as the pleasant atmosphere in the workshop, she loves gardening and spending time with her family.

Clément

Multi-skilled acoustic operator

“He’s as good with machines as he is with comedy and his off-beat sense of humour!”

Clément works on all the machines in the workshop, and as his job title suggests, he’s involved in every stage of production: he programmes, cuts, assembles, packs and dispatches products.

He joined his former colleague Maxime, our workshop manager, after having been a production operator in the composites sector. We arrived at the same time, and like me, he appreciates the friendly, caring atmosphere.

As well as his expertise, he’s also very funny. He’s very spontaneous and never stops joking, which adds to the general good atmosphere.
A keen motor sports enthusiast – he trained as a mechanic – he has been competing in rallies for over 10 years and repairs his own cars.

“He has a team leader side”

Maxime is a workshop manager. On a day-to-day basis, he dispatches orders, manages his team and the workshop.

Maxime is calm and collected, and it’s clear that loves his job, the products he makes and looking after his colleagues to get the best out of them. Already experienced as a team leader in a production company and at ease in his role as leader, he also knows how to react quickly to our requests and therefore those of our customers of course. On a personal note, like me, he’s a big film buff, and like a lot of people here, he’s a car fan.

Irmina

Sales assistant

“Always with a smile on her face, full of optimism and goodwill.”

Irmina, or “Mina” as everyone in the office likes to call her, is one of ARTECK’s latest recruits.
It hasn’t taken her long to find her place in the team.
You’d have to be pretty picky not to get on with Mina who always has a smile on her face, full of optimism and goodwill.

These are essential qualities for her job as a sales assistant, and a trilingual one at that, because yes, Mina was also recruited for her perfect command of languages to help ARTECK develop internationally.
Her ability to listen and her customer focus make her an invaluable addition to our sales department, which is delighted to have her on board.

Her pretty, colourful outfits are a perfect reflection of her personality, and she blends in wonderfully with the different elements that make up our showroom.
That’s probably why she’s so good at advising you…

Florent

Product designer manager

“Florent loves to create. He gets a kick out of the potential of acoustics”

Florent observes and creates. He has been at Arteck since 2012, and he imagines products, designs them, develops them, finds technical solutions and launches prototypes. With a background in bespoke office furniture design, this keen football fan has found his playground in acoustics. Here he can express his great creativity.

Always full of ideas, he has an innovative spirit that fits in well with the company mindset, always ready to try, experiment and design new things. The use of environmentally friendly compact PET fibre gives him plenty of scope for enjoyment, cutting and assembling. What’s more, this material lends itself particularly well to custom-made production, giving Florent the opportunity to design original creations and take on technical and aesthetic challenges.

As far as office life is concerned, although he’s more reserved than I am, we share lots of friendly times on a daily basis, and as he’s excellent at table football, I had to resort to Cornhole® to try and beat him!

Customer service manager

“Nicolas is like a Ferrero Rocher® – hard on the outside and soft on the inside”

Exuberant, extraverted and generous, Nicolas advises customers and looks after his sales colleagues from his position as a sedentary sales representative. He joined Arteck in 2016 for its family spirit and innovative drive. After several years in large automotive companies, he appreciates being part of a human-sized structure and being in direct contact with all facets of the company.

A fan of new technologies, he is always up to date with the latest innovations. At Arteck, he takes great pleasure in sharing ideas with me when we’re thinking about new products, right up to seeing the prototypes come out of the workshop.

Nicolas is a team player who brings people together with his humour and enthusiasm. He has introduced us all to Cornhole®, a game he imported from the United States, so don’t hesitate to come and challenge him. He loves to be of service and wears his heart on his sleeve. His colleagues and customers know they can count on him. Curious and aware of everything that’s going on in the company and in the sector, he’s a pillar of the team.

“Henri is very open, he listens to everyone around him”

Henri has been a sales representative at Arteck since 2015, in charge of the South of France region. He already had a feel for noise reduction and the family business through his many years of experience in personal protective equipment (PPE) and more specifically hearing protection. Building on this experience, he continues to work with retailers, acoustic consultants and architects to promote acoustic comfort.

A strong proponent of new ideas, he’s determined and gets things done, always in good humour. For example, he knows how to put forward his arguments when a product is being developed. He likes the good things in life and is a cheerful and open person who listens to his customers and others.

While he likes to joke around, he’s also very good at understanding and analysing customer needs and incorporating regulatory guidelines. He is at ease in any situation and always knows the right thing to say. He is a warm-hearted person, he loves what’s closest to him: his home, nature, picnics and aperitifs!

Jean-Daniel

Purchasing Manager

“Jean-Daniel gets the best for our customers”

Jean-Daniel set up Arteck with Daniel, his brother-in-law, in 2006 (they’re my uncle and father respectively), so he’s been there from the start, one of the two founding pillars. He was already in the game, having set up an office furniture company with his own father, so he has a great sense of family, like everyone else here. Today, he is in charge of the purchasing department. He manages suppliers, negotiates prices and sets up partnerships. I’ve been working with him since I joined the company.

He’s a hard worker who likes everything to be perfect. He has done an enormous amount to optimise purchasing. Jean-Daniel is a connoisseur of fine wines who combines firmness with friendliness. He is as good a manager as he is a skilled negotiator and he knows how to find the right compromises between suppliers, staff needs and customer expectations to get the best prices. All with a good dose of humour that’s always appreciated.

Joktan

Sales Manager

“He likes to sell simple, beautiful things”

Joktan took over as Arteck’s Sales Manager at the start of 2019. He is a hard worker who has successfully held many jobs, from sales assistant, orders and deliveries to telemarketing and sales representative, so he knows your needs and our products very well.

What fascinates him is innovations to improve acoustics and the aesthetics side, the design. In a nod to his love of beautiful cars, he was a driving force behind the development of our Art’coustik collection. As for his personality, Joktan is a very sociable person, which is reflected in his love of building relationships with our customers, and I think it’s fair to say that the pleasure is shared.

Wilfried

Design office technician

“Customers appreciate Wilfried for his accurate and rigorous diagnostics”

Wilfried puts his taste for rigour at the service of Arteck’s design office. He has been with the company since it started, and knows the sector and the products inside out, having first sold them. He then threw himself into diagnostics, where he really flourished and which fits perfectly with his efficient, disciplined side.

On a day-to-day basis, he advises customers on the surface area of acoustic elements they need and carries out in-depth acoustic studies on site. He also liaises with the inspection bodies that test our products. Honest and forthright, he is appreciated for his rigorous, highly accurate diagnoses. He developed these qualities in the family joinery business where he was trained by his father.

He is very close to his family and has also inherited their love of nature and the land. He likes the good things in life, and his all-round nature is reflected in this: I’d say he’s half hunter, half cowboy. In any case, he is definitely a family man who loves gastronomy. If you want to please him, offer him a fondue in a chalet!

Warwick

Operations Manager

“Warwick is innovative and bold”

Warwick is the Operations Manager, which means he’s in charge of production planning, selecting machines, assembly and packaging, right through to over-packaging. We really work as a team and our roles complement each other: I buy what he needs for production, I look for the right materials while he thinks about the technical requirements. He has a thousand ideas a minute, he dares to think outside the box, and the more original, different and innovative it is, the more he likes it.

For as long as I can remember, my nephew has been doing DIY – at the age of 10 he was installing panelling! He spent his summers trying his hand at the building and joinery trades, accompanying me to trade fairs, scoping the competition and tinkering with his ideas to make new things. He joined the family business when he was 18. He’s both highly technical and pragmatic, with a good dose of creativity, all mixed with a team spirit that never fails when it comes to getting together for a good meal or a party.
